Yoga and Posture Improvement Workshops
In addition to various classes, I offer workshops of varying lengths (see examples below). In addition to posture improvement clinics, I offer workshops on how to sustain your yoga practice as you age, and on the basics of the YogAlign Method developed by Michaelle Edwards. In addition, I can do workshops that unite yoga and active nature appreciation. These provide opportunities for a deeper yoga practice, movement in Nature, introspection and personal growth.
Change Your Posture, Change Your Life Workshop
Developing healthy posture reduces chronic pain, enhances mobility, improves your appearance, and increases your confidence. During the workshop, Jenny offers guidance on healthy posture and opportunities to practice healthy standing, sitting, resting and sleeping posture, as well as healthy walking and other activities based on the participants’ interests.
Jenny gives each participant with a course manual at the workshop. Based on photographs taken at the start and end of the workshop, Jenny provides each participant with a personal postural assessment and coaching report after the workshop.
Jenny typically runs this workshop as a half-day (4-5 hours) posture improvement clinic. However, it can also be adapted to be a full-day or even a two-day workshop, or a series of 4-6 posture improvement classes.

Develop deep core strength, healthy posture, and vitality in this alignment conscious yoga workshop. Informed by the science of biomechanics and studies of how to prevent yoga injuries, YogAlign™ is a safe, painless, precise exercise system that improves overall well-being, strength, and flexibility.
Jenny typically runs this as a two to three-hour workshop. Usually, participants spend 15-30 minutes on learning the principles of the YogAlign Method™. They devote the rest of the time to the practice of YogAlign breathing, self-massage, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and relaxation techniques, as well as learning different options for yoga postures and flow sequences that can help you avoid injury and reduce wear & tear on joints and soft tissues.
Participants receive a course manual outlining the principles of the YogAlign Method as well as the modified postures.
Sustain Your Yoga Workshop

Informed by the science of biomechanics and studies on how to prevent yoga injuries, the instructor will guide you in applying principles from the YogAlign Method™, a mindful, alignment-conscious, breath-focused approach that allows you to practice yoga safely and that improves your overall wellbeing, strength, and flexibility.
Usually, Jenny runs this workshop in two to three-hours. Participants spend 15-30 minutes on learning about the latest research on aging and yoga, how to prevent injuries from yoga, as well as the principles of the YogAlign Method™. They devote the majority of their time learning ways to make their yoga practice sustainable as they age, i.e. by avoiding injuries, reducing wear & tear on joints and soft tissues, and promoting a healthy immune and healing system. They will practice YogAlign breathing, self-massage, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) and relaxation techniques, different ways to do common yoga postures and flow sequences.
Participants receive a course manual summarising material covered during the workshop and providing links to further information.
